HitMeApp

Terms

These terms apply when you use HitMeApp. By continuing, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

HitMeApp is a free web app that helps a group pick a place to meet. There are no accounts: a session's six-character code is the only key to it, so anyone who has the code can join. Share it only with people you want there. Sessions are temporary; the Privacy Policy says how long their data is kept.

Google Maps

HitMeApp includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Place details, opening hours, and routes come from Google and may be incomplete or out of date, so check before you go.

Fair use

Don't use HitMeApp to harass anyone or to break the law, don't join sessions you weren't invited to, and don't try to disrupt or overload the service.

No warranty

HitMeApp is provided free of charge and as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including where and with whom you choose to meet.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one that applies.
